You are invited to the Sheriff’s Army 2017

The Sheriff of the City of York will be raising his Army to patrol the City Wall on Saturday 22nd of April 2017

Those attending are to gather at the Guildhall from 1:30pm, in appropriate (Medieval) attire, for light refreshments.

At 2pm we shall proceed round the City Wall, a guided walk led by City Archaeologist John Oxley expected to take up to 2 hours, with various stops en route, and finishing back at the Guildhall. Arrival at the Red Tower is expected to be circa: 15:30 – 16:00.
